Beats by Dre Studio 2 Wireless - USB charger port repair

In this installment of the Sawickipedia we are going to repair a pair of Beats Studio 2 wireless headphones. These were not charging at all, and not even recognising when the USB was plugged in.

The tools needed for this are a small phillips head and flathead screwdriver, soldering iron and a replacement USB board - part number CSX-B105-USB V3R2

Wire colours on the board from left to right:
Thick red, green, thin red, copper, black (below red and copper)
