Here is a short decorating journal courtesy of Rita Konig.

Her first piece explains Rita's penchant (and mine) for wandering around bric a brac fairs - here in the characterful Spitalfields. The sort of place where one can find the unusual, the one-off, the unexpected, the humble - a far cry from the mass produced, fashionable high street. Fairs such as this are the equivalent of a child's confectionery store - where browsing in itself is a joy, without always the need to purchase. Where one's education is widened by chatting to stallholders who take great pleasure in explaining the heritage of their wares. Add to that cold crisp mornings wrapped up in scarves and hats, armed with hot chocolate. What more joy could one have on a winter's morning.

The second tale delves into the world of picture hanging from the personal to the classical. Where pictures have a dialogue which remains long after their purchase, a reminder of when and where your life was at that time - a pictorial diary if you like.
