Pandemic EBT Explained! $365/Child (P-EBT) California & Other States (SNAP Food Stamps Benefit)

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT), you can get up to $365 per child, is for students who are normally able to get free or reduced price school meals.

During the lockdown there are a lot of families being affected by the changes that have been implemented to protect Americans from the pandemic. One group most affected by these changes are children who are part of the Medi-cal, Food Stamps, SNAP, Calfresh, EBT, or School Lunch program. These children often get a majority of their daily nutritional value from breakfast and lunch at school. Now with schools shut down and so many kids at home, these children are not getting the same amount of calories that they usually get from the food at school. This new program called Pandemic EBT is designed to provide additional resources to households who rely on the school lunch program, EBT, Medi-cal, Food Stamps, Calfresh, or SNAP to keep their children healthy. Today we are going to discuss the new Pandemic EBT program, who qualifies and what the benefits are.
