Pierre Gagnaire, a Michelin-Starred Chef of 16 restaurants around the world, looks back on his lengthy career and the relationship he still has with a profession that has become a genuine passion for him. From his first venture, which ultimately ended with the closure of his restaurant in Saint-Etienne, up to his arrival in Paris where he found refuge in the kitchens of the Hôtel Balzac, the Chef recounts what allowed him to understand, advance, bounce back and create a style of French cuisine that has become increasingly atypical and sophisticated.
