This process is hard, and not for everyone. It also has to be done by the right people for the right reasons. We are doing this for research, advocacy, and overturning an industry that abuses hermit crabs to make a cheap buck. This is also the first time we have ever done this, and so we do not qualify ourselves experienced enough to teach others on the matter. We just want to share our experience trying to raise babies. We also wanted to let you know that we tried raising babies twice this past summer, and sadly; neither clutch made it to land in captivity. We tried our hardest, but this process is not easy, and the species we were working with has never made it to land before. We are going to keep trying!
