The good news is that LTO extended the validity of driving licenses that expired during the ongoing pandemic, by 2 months.

The bad news is that the fixers and scammers are out in full force trying to take advantage of peoples desperation.

If you're caught with a fake license, your vehicle will be impounded and you could potentially be arrested (very rare).

This tricycle driver ran from enforcers and was chased down. He explained that he didn't know his license was fake because he paid a fixer to get it.

Although the tricycle has a sticker that says "SERVICE", it has been observed that many similar tricycles are operating as colorum public utility vehicles in that same area, with matching stickers.

It was alleged that the driver is a Tanod in a nearby Barangay. That might explain why he was wearing that baseball cap.
