The book of Jeremiah is a series of oracles written by the prophet Jeremiah in the southern kingdom of Judah over a period of forty-plus years. It speaks of God's impending judgment of Israel and the promise of future restoration and renewal. In this flight, we consider the prophet's calling and see why he is called the weeping prophet. We also catch a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel for Israel.
