Opera is a musical genre that started in Italy at the end of the 16th century. Its main difference is that it tells a story, as if it were a play, but with singing! In opera, in addition to a large orchestra, we hear the singers, who play the different characters in the play. Did you know that originally opera singers did not use microphones?
