I Made A Really Big Petticoat

In this video I show you how I made a ball gown petticoat!
I’m definitely not an expert on this (this was my first one) so take everything I say with a grain of salt. I decided to make this video because even though I’m not an expert and I don’t have a ton of experience (yet) with petticoats like this, when I first went to do research for this project I noted a lack of comprehensive, easily accessible information on it. A quick YouTube search will show you tens of easy to follow tutorials on how to insert an invisible zipper, how to flat draft the pattern for a pair of pants, how to sew all sorts of things, but when you look up how to sew a giant princess ball gown petticoat there’s very little. Now I do see that changing somewhat *cough cough Bella Mae* which is awesome. But I hope anyways that this video will help someone out there trying to make their dream dress!
