Serving Your Customer - FM Corner #105 w/ Danny Koontz
🎥 | Welcome to an "At Home" edition of FM Corner. Snow complicated travel plans, so today Danny comes to you from the mountains of East Tennessee.
👉👉 Today, Danny talks about Serving Your Customer. We all have a customer to serve. For a facility manager it is usually operations, for a vendor it is usually the facility manager or sometimes a combination of both.
Either way, we have a customer to serve.
How do you do that? 🤔
Do you put everyone in a box with the same set of rules and attempt to serve that way? Or do you look at a set of guidelines for your customers and then attempt to develop additional ways to serve depending on particular customer needs and wants?
✍️ Finding ways to deliver what is important to each type of customer you serve will produce better results.
Two things that MUST be delivered:
🔸 Honesty and transparency.
🔸 Be truthful, give facts. Don't hide issues, explain what happened and how it will be taken care of.
🔸 Your number one goal with any customer you serve is to build trust.
Serve your customer in the best way that makes them successful and builds trust between you and them. The path to get there will be different for everyone.
Thanks to all for watching and stay tuned for next week!
