how i diy my first acrylic keychain!!

after a lot of trial and error, these are some of my findings not mentioned in video, hopefully might help you if you wanna try making your own “acrylic keychain”:

✿ an oven might be a better way to heat shrink the shrinky dink evenly…but if you have no access to one like me, direct the heat gun on the side without the acrylic markers as i think it does “burn” the ink a little

✿ for flattening the pieces, if the surface of the tool is not smooth, and i flatten too fast while it’s super warm, the texture gets imprinted slightly. sometimes reheating it helps to smooth it, sometimes it doesn’t. glass or clear acrylic might be a better choice for this!

✿ colours may look quite different from the side that wasn’t drawn on! so if you want to do background, do it all on the same side as the main drawing

yes i bought another set myself because i wanted more colours, and even though there were some repeated colours, am rly happy with the purchase and i can’t wait to explore more drawings w these markers!! 🤩
