The journey of the fellowship began from Christchurch and the journey in New Zealand's South Island took 13 days and the overall journey was on an easy mode. The journey was joined by:

The trip started from 27 August 2016 and finished on 8 September 2016. On 9 September 2016, everybody went their own ways, with trip to Sydney, Australia, before flying back to Malaysia. Ismail and Azman took Malaysia Airlines to Sydney, then by Qantas to Christchurch. The rests took AirAsiaX to Auckland (via Gold Cost) and by Jetstar to Christchurch.

Day 1 (28/8/2016) – Christchurch to Moeraki (via Oamaru & Timaru) – 290km
Day 2 (29/8/2016) – Moeraki to Lake Tekapo (via Lake Benmore) – 265km
Day 3 (30/8/2016) – Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook National Park (via Peter’s Lookout). Evening at Kea Point – 120km
Day 4 (31/8/2016) – Mount Cook National Park (Peter’s Lookout, Hooker Valley Track) - 75km
Day 5 (1/9/2016) – Mount Cook National Park to Glenorchy (via Twizel, Lindis Pass, Cromwell & Queenstown) – 320km
Day 6 (2/9/2016) – Glenorchy to Te Anau (via Queenstown) – 240km
Day 7 (3/9/2016) – Te Anau to Milford Sound – 125km
Day 8 (4/9/2016) – Stranded in Milford Sound due to avalanche warning
Day 9 (5/9/2016) – Milford Sound to Queenstown (via Te Anau) – 298km
Day 10 (6/9/2016) – Queenstown to Wanaka (via Cardona) – 80km
Day 11 (7/9/2016) – Wanaka to Lake Tekapo (via Makarora & Twizel) – 320km
Day 12 (8/9/2016) – Lake Tekapo to Christchurch (Mount Somers & Mount Hutt) – 265km

We missed the opportunity to travel to the West Coast because we were stranded for one day in Milford Sound. Rather than risking the group on the uncertainties of travelling through Arthur's Pass and got stranded, we collectively decided to go back to Christchurch, via Lake Tekapo and the Inland Scenic Road 72.
