King Abdullah and Patriarch Unite to Launch Baptism Site University #leadership #religion #palestine

In a moment of great historical importance for the Christians of the Middle East, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and His Beatitude Theophilos III of Jerusalem inaugurated the Baptism Site International Orthodox University. The new institute of higher education rises in Al-Maghtas, the sacred baptism site on the eastern bank of the Jordan river, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2015.
