Indian Army, BRO complete Chungthang Bailey Bridge construction in Sikkim

Indian Army troops and Border Roads Organisation have completed the longest and heaviest single-span Bailey bridge in Chungthang, Sikkim. The 200-foot bridge spans the Teesta River, connecting previously flood-affected areas with the mainland. The construction took around five days, with BRO initially constructing concrete abutments.
