Honor Art/Foster+Fathom GIGX

The newest addition to our Grounded in Goodness Xperience (GIGX) projects for virtual and hybrid events, "Honor Art" puts a patriotic “twist” on team painting events that honors America’s Fallen Heroes with a memorial design that is presented to Gold Star Families.

Each Honor Art Kit includes a complete set of supplies, including paints, brushes and a pre-sketched 11x14” canvas depicting a Battlefield Cross, a time-honored tradition to show honor and respect for the Fallen.

The activity begins with a design session from our Resident Artist, and then each group breaks off to begin designing it’s Honor Painting. The process includes researching names of the Fallen to to personalize each painting.

And here’s the powerful component. Every Gold Star Family’s greatest fear is their loved one’s service and sacrifice will be forgotten. You make sure that doesn’t happen, as each artist will write a personal letter to these family members which are then shipped directly to them. It’s one of the most meaningful connection you can make.
