One of the most underrated cities in all of Florida is Tampa Bay. It has some of the most amazing places to visit. This is the list of top ten places to see when traveling to Tampa. The Tampa Riverwalk stretches 2.6 miles and there are so many things to do along it that you will never get bored. It starts with Armature works at the Northwest end of the Riverwalk and goes all the way to Sparkman Wharf at the Southeast end. It is dog friendly and has kayaks and beer. In the middle of the Tampa Riverwalk you have Curtis Hixon park and The Henry B. Plant Museum at The University of Tampa, as well as the Children's Museum and The Tampa Museum of Art and a a playground for little kids. Watch as the boats go by. A little further down is the Convention center where the outdoor restaurant The Sail is with great food and some beer on top. Check out The Pirate Water Taxi Tour to see Tampa Riverwalk from the river. To watch the Tampa bay river is amazing. You can rent boats, water bikes and kayaks and the kids can walk around. Sparkman Wharf has food and ice cream and is dog friendly. It is where you can watch live music and get a drink whether it is beer, soda or a mixed drink. Jump on the trolley at Sparkman Wharf and head over to Ybor City, the cigar city. It is multicultural and is known as a party town with bars and Cigar shops. Hyde Park is the next stop and is a great neighborhood in Tampa. Get your coffee or ice pop. International Plaza and Bay street is where the restaurants are. Busch Gardens is in North Tampa and so is Lowry Park Zoo. It is a fantastic zoo. Tampa also has 3 great sports teams. The Tampa bay lightening, The Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
