The Place Where You, Socrates, and I Can Meet | Salam Darwish | TEDxCairoUniversity

Salam Darwish's talk starts with how she was raised all over the world. And due to Salam's international life experiences, the talk gives a meaning of how to have a “common humanity.” Also, the talk tries to integrate knowledge from both philosophy and psychology into Salam's personal life and her professional life. And as she was talking, she tries to spot the light into three main points related to philosophy and how it changed the way she thinks. Her talk highlights the fact that we all are the same despite our different nationalities. Salam Darwish is Syrian in nationality, but she was born in India and raised all over the world. Currently, she is living in Egypt. Due to her international life experiences, Salam has gained unique insights into what it means to have a “common humanity.” She is highly drawn to psychology & philosophy, and she tries to integrate knowledge from these fields into both her personal life and her professional life.
