This month we welcome Karen Bijkersma, as she takes a deep dive into the dark web of exploitative online scammers, psychics and practitioners of the black arts who preyed upon her during her while she was heartbroken and vulnerable, and exposes the catfish and romance scammers that frequently plague us all.
Karen is a feminist writer and editor with over thirty years of professional experience. She is the author of two published books for women to date, including "The Book Every Woman Needs to Read: Women speak out about gendered domestic violence — 28 stories of survival" and "Best Ever Baby Tips". Recently Karen has been addressing the online exploitation of women in her presentations "The Heartbreak Industry" and "Reading Between the Lies: Applied rhetoric in the digital dating era".
