Cleaning lens elements In Mamiya-Sekor Z f=110mm 1:2.8 W for the RZ67 front and back lens group
In this video I will show how to cleaning the lens elements In Mamiya-Sekor Z f=110mm 1:2.8 W for the Mamiya RZ67 and it will both front and back lens group.
The lens has been used a lot during many years and have some marks, that is not possible to remove. Most af the time I use Lighter Fluid, but I also use "ECLIPSE" sensor cleaning fluid, and with both solvents the result was actually much better than what I started with.
I also discovered when trying to unscrew retaining rings and lens groups where they have used a lot thread lock, it works most of the time when I use nail polish remover, but in this case I also use Isopropylalcohol 99% and it works really good.
Be careful to set a small mark on the edge of the lens element, so you will know how it should facing when putting it back again!
