Easy-to-Build Simple WorkBench
This is an easy-to-build workbench with a 2x4 frame, plywood surface, and 1x6 shelf. This workbench is perfect for a woodworker like me who doesn't want to spend a crazy amount of time or use advanced techniques/skills.
Materials:
All ( )x( )s are in 8ft lengths
(8) 2x4s
(1) SPAX #8 2 1/2" T-Star Drive Screws(You can use any screws longer that 1.5 in and shorter than 3, doesn’t have to be spax screws)
(1) 2’x4’Plywood Sheet, any type of plywood will work (I used maple)
(3) 1x6 Common Pine Boards
(1) Bottle of wood glue (I used Titebond)
(1) 1x2 Furring strip board
I was able to get all of the materials from the Home Depot.
Cuts:
Go to 2:05 for 2x4 cuts-The paper was made for 4 27”
(8) 27” 1x6 pieces, better to take measurements directly off of workbench
(2) About 47” pieces make sure you take the measurements directly off of the workbench frame.
(1) 64”x34” Piece of plywood(It should be plywood, don’t use MDF)
