NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY 2024

National Mathematics Day was organised on 21st December,2024 in VKV DIBRUGARH.

The organising teams were from classes VII , VIII and IX.

Different groups of students were formed from Classes VII and VII. The activities of the students centred around the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division , formulas on mensuration, integers, fraction, brain teaser, brain games, puzzles, quiz and many more for the primary classes to perform.

Class IX had organised an MATHEMATICS EXHIBITION involving different working models, concepts and theorems that they have done throughout the year. They have also explained the models and concepts to the children. Additionally, they also conducted a quiz room to emphasize the exhibition in order to check the outcome of the children.

Bhaskara group comprising 10 participants was placed in Puzzle Room theme. __ Srinivasa Ramanujan group with 11 participants worked under the theme Operation Room. The theme Gaming State was given to Satyenda Nath Bose group having 11 participants.12 participants of Manjula Bhargava group conducted activities on the theme Solar System/ Space. The theme Gaming Arcade was chosen by Madhava of Sangamagrama group numbering 11 participants.

Project work -Details for Class VIII.

13 participants from Harish Chanda group designed activities on the theme Justice Den. Adventure featuring mathematical ideas was designed by Brahmagupta group with 11 students as participants. Bhaskara group comprised of 12 participants demonstrated various activities on the theme Stimulation . Funland was the project work of C . Radhakrishna group numbering 12 participants. Murder Mystery, an extremely interesting project work was led by 11 participants of Shakuntala Devi group .Activities based on the theme The Player Hub was the activity work of Aryabhatta group with 12 participants.

The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the programme.
