Plain English: What is Enterprise Architecture?

I'm pretty happy with this one. In this video, I explain in Plain English what an enterprise architect does, and how TOGAF helps architects design solutions to big business problems?

"If an enterprise never changed, you would never need an architect."

I've not seen it explained this way before, so I thought it was worth sharing. I hope this clears it up for you.

Enterprise architecture is the link between executive strategy (CEO, board of directors) and the changes required throughout all departments and systems to implement that strategy.

The executives pick a spot on the map and say "we should go here, that's the best place for us", and it's the Enterprise Architects that realize that we need to get rid of the following things, and add the following things, in order to get there.
