Dropping the Front Subframe and Steering Rack in a BMW Z3

In this video, I drop and disassemble the front subframe and steering rack from the BMW Z3 2.5 Roadster. The subframe is then reinforced, sand blasted, and powder coated.

The process is largely similar to dropping the front subframe in an E36. Oil pan removal and oil pump nut inspection, re-assembly, and a Chase Bays power steering upgrade will come in later videos.

Always use special caution when supporting the engine with an engine support bar, and when working beneath cars supported by jack stands.
