NEW FINDS FOR VINTAGE RESELLER | 2 MALLS IN 2 DAYS

Filling time between appointments is easy when you’re a reseller! This video shows two speedy shopping visits to two new antique malls that we squeeze in while we wait for a friend. Can we find anything interesting or buyable in 30 minutes or less?

The answer is yes! Our first quick stop is Bright’s Antique World, where we discover some really fun and fabulous true antiques in a giant vintage emporium. We meet Nipper the RCA dog, see what a fancy lamp has in common with a Chinese Checkers game and uncover a handsome pair of Armor Bronze bookends. This place merits a future visit with more time!

Fast forward to our next time killing vintage shopping stop, where we find ourselves 15 miles down the road at the next big freeway-fronting antique center! FleaLand Antique Mall is the 7-day-a-week destination for lovers of old stuff, situated at the end of a giant weekend flea market. Will we find resale gold?

The pickings are good here, and we figure out how to scan for bargains when time is precious. Are they having a sale? Is it big and obvious? Are there booths where one good deal makes bundling possible? We try all the tricks, and come out with some great buys in a short period of time…a WWII patriotic frame picture, a 1960s medicine cabinet and a copper sieve are among the goodies going out to the car with us. You really can speed shop for vintage, if you know where to look!

Shaving stand/valet, lighters, political buttons, chrome canister set, coffee grinder, slag glass lamps, Victrolas, Fenton Burmese, Panama Canal plate, Fenton cat, United jukebox, 1970s chrome/glass cart, Franciscan Ivy and Apple, Pyrex bowl, Glasbake bowl, notch cabinet, die cast cars, ERTL tractors, Florida screen print tumbler, vintage fan, poodle sewing box, inflatable black boy doll, weather radio, stop light, Roseville pitcher, kerosene lamps, uranium glass, Northwood carnival glass set, Imperial Grape carnival glass set, Coke ad clocks, L&N signal switch lamp and hand lantern, etc.
