Patiently Waiting for Realization - March 7, 2024 DD

Today's reading from Mark 15 reminds us that sometimes, the best solution is patience when we are undergoing persecution and lies are thrown at us. People are intelligent; we just have to wait for their realization and let our hearts be still until then.

Mark 15:3 NLT
Then the leading priests kept accusing him of many crimes,

Mark 15:8-10 NLT
The crowd went to Pilate and asked him to release a prisoner as usual.
“Would you like me to release to you this ‘King of the Jews’?” Pilate asked. (For he realized by now that the leading priests had arrested Jesus out of envy.)
