[Instrumental/Vocal Original] - If I Were A Painter (Amanda Te & A Friend) *Christmas Special*

Happy Holidays! Thank you all for staying on this journey with me as I've grown musically and as an individual! Yet another year has passed, and twice the amount of you from last year have decided to join me this year and I couldn't be happier! I hope you all enjoy this last few bits of the year and I can't wait to see what next year holds for all of us!

My inspiration:
I adore the poem that my friend wrote and it just seemed so full of love, life, and happiness, and I really wanted to convey that musically. Each stanza portrays a different emotion and so I wanted to do that with every verse.

Lyrics/Poem:
If I were a painter, I would paint you my dreams.
Each careful stroke of my brush would speak my desires
And create a world where you and I could be safe.

If I were a singer, I would sing my heart to you.
Each soothing note would draw us closer.
And wash away all of your fears.

If I were a dancer, I would dance my emotions to you.
Each graceful step would tell a story
And extinguish your misery and pain.

However, I am none of these,
But I will give you my hands, which cannot paint,
And my lips, which cannot sing,
And all my limbs, which cannot dance,
And hope that one day, you will give me your love.
