So I have been trying to programmably post on Meta/Facebook's Threads platform for just about 2 years now. At the time I first wanted to programmably post, they didn't have an API and there were only unofficial repos.

Just about last year they released an official API but at the time the documentation was missing oauth and it seemed like you can only use test case users from your created app in the meta platform when choosing threads. Maybe I was just too early, so I decided to wait.

Some weeks ago I tried again and the API finally seems fleshed out for me to have oauth added to the social media scheduler app and i was able to test posting to Threads successfully.

Next step is to add instagram platform so we can add image posting to the app.
