Hey kids! On Weekend Wankshop 143, Uncle Ben is gonna continue decoding classic thrash metal riffs you've probably been playing wrong. This time, we're gonna tackle the awesomely fast main verse riff from Poison Was the Cure from the classic Megadeth album "Rust in Peace!"
This is one of the sickest riffs on the album, and definitely one of the fastest and hardest. There are SO MANY bad tabs and lessons on how to play this riff... in this video, i'm gonna show you all the real way to play Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman's lead and rhythm parts, and even show you the way i figured this dang crap out. It's a hoot!
