TRESPASSING COPS PLOT AND SCHEME...
(What this paranoid detective doesn't think about is, the house sits in the sun all day, towards the end of the day the wood creeks and cracks...You didn't see anyone, you didn't hear anyone, you paranoid sob!
(🫨)
This detective and his supervisor had the audacity to trespass on private property for nearly 20 minutes—breaching curtilage and lingering way beyond any legal knock-and-talk limits—right in front of the American flag flying proudly. The very flag these officers swore an oath to protect and defend under the Constitution they claim to uphold. A badge doesn't give them extra rights to ignore the law. In New Jersey,
the implied license for knock-and-talk is narrow:
ℹ️
Approach the front door like any polite visitor, knock briefly, and leave if no answer. Not wander, loiter, or occupy someone's yard for 20 damn minutes without warrant, consent, or exigent circumstances. That's blatant trespassing and a Fourth Amendment violation. Their paranoia strikes again—they freak out over a dog barking at the front door (the same dog they're hearing right now), but can't connect the obvious dots. Old houses make noise. If "Officer Safety" was a real issue, why hang around in supposed "mortal danger"(which is what they will use as an excuse) for 20 minutes? Yet they weaponize that lame excuse to justify returning 5 days later with a knock-and-announce search warrant on peaceful, people they knew had health issues. Pure overreach and abuse of power.
When supervisors lead their detectives in trampling rights they swore to defend—literally under the flag—trust in law enforcement crumbles. Evidence gets suppressed for good reason. No one is above the Constitution—not even these cops. Unfortunately we aren't seeing much accountability.
📜
A "knock and talk" that lasts for 20 minutes and involves peering into your home likely crosses the line from a legal social encounter into criminal trespassing and a constitutional violation.
