warped chrome text effect ★ photoshop tutorial

hello, my name's vita. i’m a 20 year old visual artist & shop owner from the bay area, CA.

this first video was for a recent school assignment so i figured i might as well post it on my own channel. the point of the assignment was to find a tutorial online that we enjoyed and recreate it with our own type design. so this tutorial is 100% inspired by Louis Moss’ video: https://youtu.be/zsLNuvTaA34 and Justin Odisho’s video: https://youtu.be/AXxQUB5yDVQ. i am in no way trying to make it seem like i “invented” this particular effect. however, the overall design is completely my own. i’m simply showcasing how to add a chrome text effect to a drawn typeface which can be applied to any shape in photoshop.

i'm not sure if tutorials are something i’d wanna do more of but regardless, i wanna continue posting on youtube as another creative outlet for myself. so stick around for more art by me & some other stuff ♡ thanks for watching!! :)
