2026 Big Ten Predictions: Who Wins the Big Ten? | College Football 2026

Who wins the Big Ten? Which team will prove to be the toughest in the toughest conference in college football? We will answer these and many others in my 2026 Big Ten Football Predictions.

In this video, I go through records, ceilings, floors, power ratings, key players, and my thoughts on the rosters and staffs of all 18 Big Ten programs. This conference finally has the depth to punch with the SEC, with several teams, such as Michigan, USC, Washington, Iowa, and Penn State, being College Football Playoff contenders. I believe Michigan and USC can win it all, too, if certain cards go their way.

However, Indiana, Oregon, and Ohio State sit at the top of the Big Ten entering 2026, and I believe they are the three strongest programs in college football right now and moving into 2027 and beyond. Indiana and Ohio State, along with Georgia, have the best staffs in the country, while Oregon has the best roster in CFB.

There are so many fascinating questions, thanks to the strength and diversity of the league: Will Indiana and Curt Cignetti repeat as Big Ten and national champions (and go 16-0 again?!)? Can Oregon finally break through under Dan Lanning and win its first national title in program history? Does Ohio State win the Big Ten for the first time since 2020? Can they reach the CFP with a historically tough schedule and win Ryan Day his 2nd title? How does Kyle Whittingham perform in his first year at Michigan? Can USC and Nebraska break through after long rebuilding years? What about Washington with Jedd Fisch? Are they a CFP sleeper?

These are my post-spring Big Ten football 2026 predictions, rankings, and playoff projections based on hours of research and thought in the winter and spring months.
