Corporate Documentary | Construction of Ivar Aasen, a S$900m Norwegian Offshore Oilfield Platform

SMOE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine, has secured a contract worth about S$900 million ($726 million) from Det norske oljeselskap ASA, Norway for engineering, procurement and construction of the Process, Drilling and Quarters Platform (pdQ) Topsides to be installed at a water depth of 112 metres for the Ivar Aasen development in the North Sea.

PixelMusica was commissioned by SMOE to produce this documentary of the process of building this massive and complex construction across 2.5 years. It was a proud and emotional moment for us and the engineering team to witness the send-off from Singapore to Norway.
