Review: Can The 2018 Nissan Maxima Platinum Be a Luxury Sports Sedan?

The Nissan Maxima can potentially play the role of luxury car, sports car, family sedan, or all three....depending on what you like. This particular 2018 Nissan Maxima Platinum Edition comes fully loaded and has a 300 HP engine with good driving dynamics. My least favorite thing was the CVT because it takes away some fun from the car but the "sport" button helped by enhancing the engine note and making it more responsive. Overall, this 2018 Maxima was very comfortable, quiet, aggressive looking, and pretty much exactly what most sedan buyers would want. It's so close in size to the Altima which makes it unique and much smaller than competitors like the Chevy Impala, Toyota Avalon, and more. If ou really want something sport, go with the Maxima SR Midnight model because it's got a sportier suspension and looks great.
