Inside the tomb of an Egyptian official, located near the infamous Karnak temple in Luxor, Egyptian archaeologists found a door to the afterlife. It dates back 3500 years and was supposedly the gateway through which spirits of the recently dead would travel to the afterworld. The door is almost 6 feet (1.8 m) tall, a single chunk of pink granite scrawled with religious hieroglyphic texts.
