Putting Retro Games on a Raspberry Pi 5 with RetroPie

Although you could take the easy way out and use an emulator or even buy a device that’s loaded with a ton of retro games, that wouldn’t be as fun as building your own from scratch!

So, if you’re looking for a quick beginner-friendly Raspberry Pi project, this one’s a good start. You’ll get to dive into setting up a Raspberry Pi, connecting a HAT and NVMe drive, installing RetroPie, and also transferring files to the device.

While there’s various ways to approach this build, the overview I share is the one that I followed.
