Deadly Class Reunion (Chapter 17 - Golden Deer) | Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch)

Greetings everyone and welcome back to my playthrough of the Golden Deer route of Fire Emblem: Three Houses! We are now in Imperial territory. Edelgard has prepared a defensive line in Gronder Field, site of the Battle of the Eagle and Lion 5 years prior. As Claude and the Golden Deer march to Gronder Field, they learn that a Kingdom army flying the royal standard has made its way through Alliance territory and has crossed one of the smaller bridges over the Airmid River. This army is also marching towards Gronder Field, but with incredible haste. A 3 way battle appears inevitable. As the Golden Deer arrive at Gronder Field, so does the Kingdom army. To Claude's surprise, the Kingdom army is being led by Dimitri, who had been presumed dead. Dimitri announces that he's here for Edelgard's head and will attack anyone who gets in his way. Edelgard, knowing that she cannot fight both the Alliance and Kingdom simultaneously, opts for a strategy of chaotic warfare to even the odds. And so, Edelgard orders her Dark Mages to launch a rain of fireballs as the first strike. What then follows is one of the deadliest class reunions in Fodlan's history. There are no alliances, parleys, or treaties here, only who is left standing when the dust settles. Our mission in Chapter 17 is to defeat both Dimitri and Edelgard and take Gronder Field.
