Weaving Method of Dealing with Yarn Tails // Technique Tuesday

While "weaving in ends" is used as a generic term for dealing with yarn tails (often after the knitting is done), there is an actual technique called "weaving" that can be used to trap yarn tails against the wrong side of the work as you join a new ball of yarn and knit the first several stitches of the row, eliminating that task from the final steps of finishing your project.

This method is related to the weaving method of trapping long floats on the wrong side of stranded colorwork.

Note: there is audio only in the left channel. Sorry!
