Iron Ore Rebalance + Angry Goats! ▫ Minecraft Snapshot 21w18a ▫ Caves & Cliffs Update 1.17/1.18

Minecraft has published Snapshot 21w18a, the latest Java Edition snapshot for the Caves & Cliffs Update!
This update increases the likelihood of aggressive behaviour in the rare screaming goats, and adjusts the time-to-break for Infested Stone. But this video will focus on the datapack which adds previews of 1.18 features, because that has rebalanced the availability of iron ore in caves, reduced the amount of copper ore, and adjusted the new noodle caves to be more accommodating!
Today we explore the datapack world in Survival, searching for iron, before switching to spectator and creative mode to showcase other features.

There are also bug fixes - including a vital fix for the lag spikes in previous snapshots - and changes to cave generation, such as the removal of dripstone blobs above Y=0.
