Shelling Post Tropical Storm Fred - Navarre Beach https://youtu.be/f6-BLM7i5_k

In August of 2021 residents in the southern states were glued to the TV as Tropical Storm Fred meandered along its northerly path, all the while strengthening over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Forecasters pointed to Fort Walton Beach, then Pensacola Beach, and even farther west. Tropical Storm Fred eventually straightened out and headed for Florida's Big Bend and made landfall as a tropical storm on Cape San Blas (8/16/21) bringing rain and wind gusts over 60 mph.

Our first trip was to Navarre Beach (https://youtu.be/f6-BLM7i5_k) and we did quite well. During this trip we'll visit where Fred made landfall: Cape San Blas and find shells where we didn't expect them to be.
