BRITISH MASSIVE ASSAULT - WW2 ITALIAN LAST STAND - INVASION of SICILY 1943 FILM

Inspired by Operation Husky, today's cinematic storytelling comes from Italy/Sicily in July 1943 when the Allied opened the second front to Germans, who were simultaneously battling in Kursk. This epic amphibious beach assault was conducted by the British and American forces with the goal to occupy the island that will become their base of operation for the mainland assault 2 months later. These events led to the fall of Italy who'll eventually switch sides.
You see beautiful Sicilian landscape and scenery, some Tiger vs Sherman action, and battleship destruction of defensive lines. This is the Italian last stand.
