LiveCast: Developer Empathy
In this LiveCast, we discuss strategies to help you better understand your developer consumers, and ways to respond to improve your API experiences by having more empathy for developer needs. Featuring presentations by Adam DuVander, Principal Consultant, EveryDeveloper, and Christina Voskoglou, Senior Research Director, SlashData.
Give Every Developer a Quick Start
by Adam DuVander, EveryDeveloper
Start your developer experience here: with clear, guided steps. Regardless of what kind of developers you want to reach, they will be more successful if you direct their first interaction. Adam DuVander and his team at EveryDeveloper have written hundreds of tutorials and reviewed thousands of docs sites. In this presentation, Adam will share “getting started” best practices culled from the best API companies.
The API and Non-API Developer Communities: How They Differ in Size and Profile
by Christina Voskoglou, SlashData
In this session, and based on data from our Developer Economics surveys that receive more than 30,000 responses annually, we will discuss the relative size of the API and non-API developer communities. We’ll look into both the community size and the profile of the developers who use third-party APIs, and compare them to those who only use private or internal APIs, and to those who don’t use any APIs at all.
