I found out something about the CANON PRO 1 that shocked me!

Quite often people think they just need to buy a top of the line printer and BINGO all is taken care of after that.
The CANON Pixma PRO-1 is one OUTSTANDING printer capable of stellar print results. But remember that when you commit to a printer of that level you are also committing to maintaining it and the costs that simply owning one of these beasts brings.
There is ONE shocking little secret about this printer and it occurs on the 45th day of use from the date you set it up.
Though OEM inks are always the best way to go, one way to save money is to use your original PGI-29 empty Carts, and after a slight modification you can insert Single use Chips on them and refill with inkjetcarts.us inks or precisioncolors inks, once they establish an ink set for the PRO-1.
I will have Empty Carts sets, modified and ready to accept Single Use Chips for sale.
