Today we are pouring on a 36x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas, one of my favorite sizes!!

I will be doing a Fantasy pour on this big canvas.. these are my colors

THERE IS NO SILICONE IN MY PAINT

I will need 46 ounces of paint for this size canvas, so that is 2 of my cups filled all the way up. I will use 44ounces plus some thinned out flow extender.

I layer my cup carefully down the side (not a dirty cup), keeping contrast in mind. I am using layers of the Prussian Blue in between layers of the metallics so that they show up really well.

I pour a Fantasy pour (combination of a ring pour and a straight pour) into a small puddle of my thinned out gold flow extender, then fill the cup again and pour the second cup right into the center of the first pour.

I use some thinned out 24k gold as my flow extender because if the pour rolls over the gold we will get gold cells popping up. I need more flow extender because this is a big canvas, so I use my drips from Raven's Tango and thin it out with some water and put that down on the corners and sides to give my pour something to slide on easily.
The flow extender helps keep your center design intact by tilting off the flow extender and stretching the design evenly. Think of it like rolling out pizza dough..

I tilt it to cover the canvas, after a few small adjustments I'm done!
I really love these pearl colors, wow!

It took about 3 days for this piece to dry, and the center is still tacky.. so I shot the mostly dried result on my table instead of standing up. I will show it to you in full sun in the next video though.
