obviously i knew it was probably misogyny that was to blame but i was hoping there would be at least a couple good reasons people had for the hate... just to be 100% clear i'm not saying miss swift deserves praise for the things she's done, i just question the negativity.

edit (18/8): okay so i went to double check some of this stuff because i do that, and I’ve realised that there may not have been a falling out between bieber and sheeran. katy perry used it as an example and since i’m so completely detached from pop music i didn’t realise they worked together last year. just to be completely transparent, it’s likely that there wasn’t a falling out and katy perry just pulled an example of two men in the music industry that were friendly. either way, the point about feuds between women being more focussed on still stands, as evidenced by the fact that it’s rather hard to find anything close to the same number of articles on feuds between men.
