New 2024 Lexus TX - Three Row Premium Crossover SUV

Japanese luxury automaker Lexus expands its SUV lineup in North America with the 2024 TX. This is likely a more upscale version of Toyota's three-row Grand Highlander SUV, which will be sold at dealers with a hybrid engine and also in plug-in hybrid form. Additionally, the 2024 Lexus TX will be the first Lexus produced at Toyota's Indiana plant.
The Lexus TX is based on the TNGA-K platform, which underpins models such as the Toyota Grand Highlander. The TX also shares many exterior and interior design elements with the Grand Highlander.

The 2024 Lexus TX SUV features a unique three-row silhouette. A focus on the car's aerodynamic performance led to the development of the new Lexus "Unified Spindle" design. The front end of the TX features a narrow opening leading to the headlights and a low-set grille. Additionally, the SUV will be available in four different trim levels and will be offered with different wheel options. There is a slim and distinctive light bar at the rear of the vehicle.
Available in a variety of versions, you can choose from seven exterior colors: Cloudburst Grey, Wind Chill Pearl, Caviar, Matador Red Mica, Nightfall Mica, Incognito, and Celestial Silver Metallic.
The
Lexus TX features a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Details include digital door locks, multicolor interior lighting, up to seven USB charging ports, an available head-up display, and an optional 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Interior colors can be chosen from peppercorn, birch, and black depending on the grade.

The 2024 TX offers comprehensive practicality and ease of use in every row, ensuring comfort and convenience for all passengers. The TX offers passengers plenty of space and comfortable seating, with a spacious third row and 569 liters of luggage space behind it. All rows of seats have accessible storage space, and luggage capacity increases to 1,625 liters when the third row seats are folded down. With the second and third row seats folded down, the cargo capacity further increases to 2,747 liters.

The TX has three engine options. However, the options in TX are different. The TX 350 comes standard with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine that delivers 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission and is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The buyer can also choose from two hybrid options.

The TX 500h features the Grand Highlander's 2.4-liter "Hybrid Max" setup with a six-speed automatic producing 366 horsepower and 409 pound-feet of torque. Lexus also offers a 3.5-liter V6 plug-in hybrid TX 550h+ model with CVT. The PHEV makes 406 horsepower and has an estimated EV range of 53 miles. All hybrids feature Lexus' Direct4 AWD system. The TX 550h+ also features dynamic rear-wheel steering.
