This video demonstrates How to Knit Custom Toe-Up Socks - Part 1 (with double-pointed needles.
Although I demonstrate this through a worsted weight yarn, you can follow the exact steps and knit with any yarn from your stash. All that needs to be done is that if you are using a thinner yarn, you will need to increase the number of initial stitches that you cast on using Judy's magic Cast on method.
