'Expanding our opportunities': Gretna City leaders discuss allowing cottage cluster housing

"When you can offer affordability, size, own or rent, then expanding our opportunities is great for this community," City administrator Paula Dennison said. With most subdivisions, each house has to be set on a specific lot size. But with cluster cottages, city leaders say the housing can be clustered together in one part of a large plot of land. That means more outdoor space and common areas for residents.
