How To Chop Samples in EXS24 | Logic Pro Tutorial
Being able to chop samples is a handy tool for your beatmaking skills. This video shows how to chop samples in EXS24 and also how to edit your chops within in the EXS24 sampler.
To chop samples all you have to do is:
1. Highlight your sample/loop
2. Right click and choose convert to sample track
3. Choose whether you want regions or transient split
4. Job done!
Now you have the ability to manipulate the samples pitch, glide, ADSR etc and play the sample from your MIDI keybaord or pencil your notes in. Like I always say its your canvas, your artwork... Do you!
