Akai MPC One 2.10 - Creating a randomised chord pattern with Granulator and Vocal Harmonizer

Another experiment with the Granulator, this time combining it with the Vocal Harmonizer plugin to create a randomised chord generator (both the Granulator and Vocal Harmonizer were introduced in MPC 2.10). No midi, no arpeggiator...I created the following FX chain - - Granulator - Vocal Tuner - Vocal Harmonizer - Analog Delay Sync (you could alternatively have a reverb here)Again the fun all starts with the Granulator. If I set the Granulator wet mix to 100% and hit freeze, the grain sequence will loop. If I then introduce 100% pitch randomisation within a +12.0 semitone range in the grain sequence and take the density right down (greater than 2grains/sec) then I will get grains which can have any random pitch within the octave. Using the Vocal Tuner plugin I can tune them before they are harmonised using the Vocal Harmonizer plugin, to create the chords. The result is a randomised chord sequence, which can then be sampled/chopped for further use.
