Thermite reaction series 30%FeO2 70% Al

Testing thermite mixtures. This is a part of a series of tests to determine the most reactive concentration. Which was found to be at higher Al levels. However the quality of product was worse with the higher Al levels. It was porous and brittle.

I used Magnesium ribbon and a Map gas torch to start the reaction.
